Obsah:
Film se odehrává v Chicagu téměř deset let po okupaci mimozemšťany. Captive State zkoumá životy na obou stranách konfliktu. Na straně jedné jsou mimozemšťané společně s kolaborujícími lidmi, na straně druhé jsou lidé, kteří proti okupaci povstanou. Zejména díky vládnímu úředníkovi (John Goodman), jehož úkolem je sjednotit svět proti společnému mimozemskému nepříteli.
